The Charity Group is one of the most critical components of SEO China. Our main purpose is to establish a platform on which interns from various leading enterprises are organized into a group to actively participate into philanthropic programs. In this way, we help cultivate social responsibility of the younger generation and enhance the well-being of the unprivileged.

Before formally establishing this charity group, all the interns recruited by SEO China have been exposed to a variety of volunteering and non-profitable opportunities. In the past four years, our alumni volunteered to be teachers in the schools of migrant workers’ children, child care workers in the Sunny Home of Shanghai, which is an orphanage center, as well as tutors for pre-university students in the Enlightenment Program. Through such charitable activities, these freshmen of the society, who would possibly be the future leaders in their fields, began to understand the difficulty of life of different groups living on the same continent, to realize the responsibility on their shoulders and to lock their ultimate goal of giving back to the society. We strongly believe that only in this practical way could our commitment of giving back sustain.

Based on the actions taken in the past four years, we are eager to make greater efforts to push forward our idea and charitable programs so as to make such philanthropic activities available to more outstanding and socially responsible young adults. Therefore, the Dandelion Program is initiated. As wind helps transport the seed of dandelion, SEO China and these interns will shoulder their responsibilities to bring love and hope to every corner of the society.
