Investment Trend Workshop

On August 4th, the all the Gobi interns in Shanghai attended a workshop named "Future Investment Trend Workshop". The purpose of this workshop is to find the investment trends in the next decade and pin down Gobi's investment focus for future fund raising.

The basic process of the workshop goes like this: first we figure out what is certain and uncertain in the next generation and then we created critical uncertainties and prioritize through voting process. After doing all that, we choose several agreed critical uncertainties to formulate different scenarios. At last, we sketched out this kind of society it will be under specific scenario. When we get this kind of sketched future society, we can delve into more detailed technologies and opportunities associated with that.

Everybody took a active part in this workshop and the workshop lasted for a whole day. This workshop is initiated by Chibo Tang, who provided basic idea and reference materials. Charles and Paul hosted the whole process and wrote down all the ideas that came across through the workshop.
